These are my first ever attempts at recording my songs. Senior year of high school I recorded these two songs by using a tape player from the late 70s which had a recording function. These songs were a shock to find and mean a lot to me. I feel things that I don't really know how to identify or describe when I listen to these recordings. My own voice sounds ancient and far away. These tapes captured me at a very different moment in my life. I think these tapes haunt me and also invigorate me because the person recording them sounds dead.
